January 12, 2009ರ ವರೆಗೆ ತುಮಕೂರು, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಬಿಜಾಪುರ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಂಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಆಸಕ್ತರು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿದೆ.

I am very eager to watch ur movie. I was sad that ur film will not be screened in any of the Bangalore theaters. But anyway in Saturday’s news paper I saw a piece of information where it mentioned, movie CDs are available in one of the store in Jayanagar. I am waiting to buy the CD by this weekend.

Sorry Abhaya, I made a mistake in interpreting the news. Actually on that day’s news paper there were two stories, one about a new DVD store Cinema Paradiso and another about BIFFes film festival. In between these two they had put a list of few movies. I thought those are the special movies available in that store, but in reality it’s the list of movies that are gona be screened in the coming film festival. Sorry again for the wrong information. Do inform us if us ur movie is gona screened in any of the theaters in Bangalore.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು. ’ಗುಬ್ಬಚ್ಚಿಗಳು’ ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆತುರ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಂತಹ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶಗಳೇ ಕಡಿಮೆ. ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ರೈಯವರು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಿತ್ರರಂಗದ (ನಿರ್ಮಾಪಕರು, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರಗಳು, ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ಸೇರಿ) ಮನೋಭಾವ ಬದಲಾಗಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಉತ್ತಮ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಸಿಕ್ಕೀತು. ಈಗ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ಒಂದೋ ಚಿತ್ರೋತ್ಸವಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು ಅಥವಾ ಟಿವಿ ಚಾನಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಟೆಲಿಕಾಸ್ಟ್ ಆಗಬೇಕು.. ಎಂತಹ ಅಧ್ವಾನ ನೋಡಿ!! ನಮ್ಮ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಂತೂ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ತುಂಬಾ ಕಡಿಮೆ.
ಹೌದು ಹರೀಶರೇ… ನಾವು ಚಿತ್ರಮಾಡಿದವರಿಗೂ ಜನ ನೋಡ್ತಾ ಇಲ್ವಲ್ಲಾ ಎನ್ನೋ ವ್ಯಥೆ… ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತೋ ಎಂದು ಅರಿವೇ ಆಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ… ಆಗಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವುದಂತೂ ತುರ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯ.
